A consulting firm's client in the hi-tech space is hiring a Data Science Consultant to build AI and GenAI solutions. You will work on ML models, NLP and cloud platforms, in a hybrid role across five cities. The role suits 4 to 8 years of experience.
The role
This is a full-time Data Science Consultant role in the hi-tech industry. The work covers semiconductors, enterprise technology, consumer technology and medical technology. You will develop AI models and GenAI applications for business problems such as marketing and customer analytics, predictive maintenance, production optimization, supply chain and sales analytics.
Your day will involve building ML models in Python, including NLP and computer vision work. You will design GenAI solutions using prompt engineering and prompt tuning, and work with solution architects on GenAI assets. You will also connect data from PLM, ERP, CRM and contact centre systems to AI solutions. You will gather requirements from stakeholders and help move solutions into production.
We are looking for candidates with 4 to 8 years of experience in data science and machine learning. You should have hands-on work in Python and in Azure or GCP, and AWS exposure is valued. Experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Llama 2, Claude 2 or Hugging Face is an advantage. Relevant technical or quantitative education is preferred. Candidates with some team lead or consulting experience will be considered.
The role is hybrid and based in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune or Gurugram. Notice period of up to 90 days is accepted.
