The role
The role is for an Associate Manager in Asset Data Management, based in Bengaluru and working from the office. It is a full-time role in the operations and finance space. The work is about power infrastructure. You will turn raw asset data on substations and transformers into plans for preventive and predictive maintenance, so that critical equipment stays reliable.
Your day will involve managing, governing and checking the quality of technical asset data for power grid equipment. You will use asset datasets to plan and improve routine maintenance schedules. You will analyse historical and live operational data to spot likely equipment failures and reduce downtime. You will also build reports and data models that track asset health, reliability and performance trends. You will work closely with engineering and maintenance teams so that your recommendations are used in daily grid operations.
We are looking for a candidate with 9 to 14 years of experience in asset data analysis and database management, preferably in utility, power or heavy industrial settings. You should understand preventive and predictive maintenance concepts and frameworks. Direct knowledge of electrical infrastructure, especially substations and transformers, is important. You should be proficient in data analytics tools and in Enterprise Asset Management or Asset Performance Management software. Strong analytical problem solving and clear technical communication are also needed.
