A hybrid role for a Capital Projects Consultant to work with global clients on Project Portfolio Management tools, process mapping and digital transformation. Four to six years of experience is needed, in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Pune or Mumbai.
The role
The role is for a Capital Projects Consultant. You will engage with clients in the capital projects domain, understand their business needs and define suitable solutions using Project Portfolio Management tools. You will lead or support end-to-end implementation of tools such as Oracle Unifier, Aconex and Oracle Primavera Cloud, along with process mapping and digital transformation work tied to project governance and control standards.
A typical day includes requirements gathering, gap analysis and solution design workshops with client stakeholders. You will translate functional needs into system configurations and workflows that improve capital project management and Capex processes. You will also prepare functional documents, user guides and standard operating procedures, run user training sessions, and work with technical teams on data integration and delivery. Progress monitoring and risk control are part of the role.
We are looking for someone with four to six years of experience in consulting, project controls or digital transformation in the capital projects sector. You should understand capital project workflows, including cost control, schedule management, procurement, Capex and document control. Hands-on experience with Oracle Unifier, Oracle Primavera Cloud or Aconex is needed, along with PPM tool configuration skills. Exposure to capital-intensive industries such as infrastructure, utilities, oil and gas, energy, data centres or EPC is useful. A PMP, PRINCE2 or Oracle PPM certification is an added advantage. A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related field is required.
The location is Bengaluru, Gurugram, Pune or Mumbai. The work mode is hybrid. This is a full-time role. Candidates with a notice period of up to 90 days are considered.
