The role
This is a Manager or Senior Manager role in the Process Excellence team of a consulting company's Finance and Accounting practice. You will work on transformation projects for large global clients. The work runs from process diagnostics and maturity assessments through to future-state design, transition and value tracking.
In a typical week you may lead a multi-workstream finance transformation engagement. You will map processes at L1 to L4 level, run gap analysis and benchmarking, and turn the findings into a prioritised roadmap with clear KPI targets. You will also guide teams on how to redesign processes using AI, and help shape Agentic AI use cases tied to business outcomes. You will work with CFOs, Controllers and shared services leaders on roadmaps and business cases.
We are looking for someone with deep process expertise in Record to Report (RTR), Procure to Pay (PTP), Order to Cash (OTC), with knowledge of FP&A, Fixed Assets or Product Costing as a plus. You should have hands-on understanding of AI strategy and value architecture for enterprise finance, and some exposure to GenAI, LLMs, AI governance or responsible AI frameworks. Experience in programme management, client advisory or business development will help. Useful extras include SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Fusion finance knowledge, process mining tools, RPA platforms, or cloud platforms. The minimum qualification is a CA, CPA, MBA in Finance, B.Tech or B.E, or a Bachelor's in Data Science from a Tier 1 institute.
The experience band is 8 to 18 years. The role is full-time and hybrid, based in Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru or Hyderabad. The notice period should be up to 90 days.
