A hybrid role for a Finance Process Excellence Consultant in Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru or Hyderabad. You will work on finance transformation, automation and AI-led process improvement for 4 to 8 years of experience.
The role
We are hiring a Finance Process Excellence Consultant for a consulting firm's finance transformation work. You will analyse finance workflows, find where automation and AI can help, and help deliver the change. The role suits someone who understands finance operations and can also work hands-on with data and tools.
A typical day involves studying finance processes, documenting pain points and building process models in BPMN. You will write Python scripts for data extraction, transformation and API calls, and query finance datasets using SQL. You will also prepare reports in Excel, Power BI or Python, and contribute to solution documentation. You will apply at least one hands-on AI or automation capability, such as GenAI prompt engineering, RPA scripting, process mining or LLM-based workflow prototyping.
We want someone with strong knowledge of at least one finance sub-process: Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (PTP) or Record to Report (RTR). Must-have skills are finance operations transformation, Python, SQL, finance process and workflow analysis, and finance reporting and data analysis. Good to have are SAP or Oracle finance modules, RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Power Automate, process mining tools, and experience with ERP or finance tools such as BlackLine, Coupa or Ariba. A CA, CPA, MBA in Finance, B.Tech, B.E., or a Bachelor's in Data Science is preferred.
The experience band is 4 to 8 years. The role is full-time and hybrid, based in Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru or Hyderabad. Notice period up to 90 days.
