A consulting company is hiring a Process Excellence Consultant to redesign enterprise workflows with AI and automation. The role suits people with four to nine years of process design experience. It is hybrid, based in seven cities across India.

The role

The role is for a Process Excellence Consultant in the Strategy and Consulting practice of a consulting company. You will work in a collocated team that takes AI ideas from problem definition to a live, scalable outcome. You will redesign how businesses get work done by combining AI, automation and human expertise into efficient processes.

Your day will involve owning end-to-end workflows across functions, systems and data. You will map current-state processes, find steps where AI or automation can help, and decide where human judgment must stay in the loop. You will define workflow logic, handoffs and exception paths, and prepare blueprints that engineering and platform teams can build from. You will also support value identification by gathering baseline data and helping define KPIs, and you will prepare research and materials for client workshops.

We are looking for deep process design expertise, including Business Process Design and Workflow Analysis and Design. You should have hands-on experience re-designing processes to be AI-ready. You should understand NLP, LLMs, RAG, machine learning and human-machine interaction, including agentic AI. You need experience in process discovery and analysis, and depth in one or more industry sectors or functions. Strong communication, presentation and storytelling-with-data skills are needed. Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Microsoft Power Automate, or with process-mining tools such as Celonis or Signavio, will help. Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus. An MBA or a Master's degree from a good college is preferred.

The experience band is four to nine years. The role is full-time and hybrid. It is based in Gurugram, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad or Kolkata. Notice period of up to 90 days is preferred.

Must have

  • Deep process design expertise across Business Process Design and Workflow Analysis & Design
  • Strong native AI fluency — NLP, LLMs, RAG, Machine Learning, and Human-Machine Interaction (HMI), including agentic AI and multi-agent orchestration
  • Hands-on experience in Process Discovery and Process Analysis... drive Value Discovery
  • Domain Consulting depth in one or more industry sectors or functional areas
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and storytelling-with-data skills

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience working with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini)
  • workflow automation and RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate
  • process-mining tools such as Celonis or Signavio
  • Lean Six Sigma certification a plus
