The role
This is a consultant role in the Enterprise AI Value Strategy practice of a consulting firm. You will help global enterprise clients rethink supply chain planning and execution by combining supply chain functional knowledge with enterprise AI concepts. The work covers demand and supply planning, manufacturing, procurement, aftermarket and fulfillment.
Your day will be a mix of structured analysis and open-ended problem solving. You will identify and prioritise AI use cases, map current processes to AI-enabled future states, and help write business requirements documents, functional requirements documents and process maps. You will also help build business cases that set out return, risk and transformation timelines.
You will support client workshops and discovery sessions, and prepare strategy decks that explain AI and data ideas in plain language to supply chain and operations leaders. You will analyse supply chain data such as forecast accuracy, inventory performance and supplier scorecards. You will also contribute to AI reference architecture designs, using prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation techniques.
We are looking for someone with 5 to 7 years of experience in supply chain management, operations, business analysis or consulting, including internships or coursework where relevant. You should have working knowledge of supply chain functions, experience with BRDs, FRDs and process mapping, and an understanding of agentic AI and RAG concepts. Experience with data synthesis and advisory workflows is required. Familiarity with planning or ERP platforms such as SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder or Oracle SCM is preferred. A bachelor's degree is required. An MBA or master's degree in a related field, and certifications in AI, cloud or supply chain, are an advantage.
The role is full-time and hybrid, based in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Hyderabad or Mumbai. Candidates with a notice period of up to 90 days are considered.
