The role
The role is for an Instructional Design Consultant in the talent and organisation practice of a consulting company. You will help clients with learning design and development, change management and HR transformation. You will work on the full cycle of design, development and delivery of training solutions.
A typical day includes working with the client team to understand the business problem and agree the solution approach. You will run training needs analysis, build the curriculum and write detailed content outlines. You will also set design standards, templates and checklists, and review training material against project quality parameters. You will share risks with project leads and help the team develop their instructional design skills through clear feedback and coaching.
You should have 5 to 8 years of experience in instructional design and content development. Hands-on skill in Articulate Storyline and storyboarding is essential. Experience with Captivate, Lectora, Camtasia, WalkMe or Whatfix, and knowledge of the ADDIE model, will help. You should have built instructor-led training, web-based training, simulations, job aids and quick reference guides. Experience in leading or coaching small teams is useful. A bachelor's degree is required, and BTech or BE is preferred. Strong writing and interpersonal skills are important.
The location is Gurugram, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Chennai. This is a full-time role. Candidates with a notice period of up to 90 days may apply.
