A Pursuit Writing Analyst role in Bengaluru for a proposal writer with 3 to 5 years of experience. You will write compliant, persuasive content for RFP, RFI and RFx responses, working with response managers and subject matter experts. The role is on a night shift, in the office.
The role
The role is for a Pursuit Writing Analyst, also known as a proposal writer, based in Bengaluru. You will write clear, compliant content for proposals, RFPs, RFIs and sales materials. You will take responses to an advanced draft stage, with the draft about 80 to 90 percent complete, working with response managers, sales operations and subject matter experts.
Your day starts with proposal kick-offs, where you agree on strategy, templates, data sources and collateral with the response team and sales. You then draft sections using standard templates, campaign messages and existing content. You will interview subject matter experts to get technical and commercial details, and bring their inputs into the proposal. You will also pull the compliance data that proposals need, such as security, ESG, supplier diversity and public sector details.
We are looking for strong business writing and editing skills, and a good sense of proposal storytelling. You should be able to turn complex solution details into a clear story that helps the company stand out. You need working knowledge of proposal compliance and RFx requirements, and strong skills in MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Experience using generative AI tools to research and create content is required. Experience working with graphic designers, B2B sales support or proposal template standards will help.
The role is full time and works on a night shift, in the office in Bengaluru. Your work is measured on first-draft acceptance, content quality, on-time delivery, and how well you reuse content from the repository. The qualification needed is any graduation.
