A consulting company is hiring an Analyst or Consultant for its supply chain analytics team. You will build forecasting and machine learning models for global clients. The role is hybrid, based in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Hyderabad or Mumbai, for candidates with two to eight years of experience.
The role
This is an Analyst or Consultant role in the data and AI practice of a consulting company, focused on supply chain analytics. You will apply time series forecasting, machine learning and statistical methods to solve supply chain problems for global clients. You will also help build reusable analytics assets that the team can use on future work.
A typical day involves exploratory data analysis and data preparation on large enterprise datasets using Python, PySpark and SQL. You will build, validate and deploy models, and deploy analytics solutions on Azure, AWS or GCP. You will turn model outputs into clear supply chain insights and present them to business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
We are looking for candidates with two to eight years of experience in machine learning, time series forecasting or optimization. You should be strong in Python, PySpark and SQL, and have a good grasp of statistics. Working knowledge of core supply chain functions and at least one cloud platform is needed. Experience with simulation or optimization modelling, Power BI or Tableau, and planning tools such as o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder or SAP IBP is useful. A master's degree in a technology, engineering or quantitative field is preferred. Certifications in Python, AI/ML, optimization or cloud platforms are an added advantage. Strong written and verbal communication is essential.
The role is full-time and hybrid, based in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Hyderabad or Mumbai. Candidates should be able to serve a notice period of up to 90 days.
