The role
We are hiring an SAP ABAP Cloud Developer for a technology company in Bengaluru. The role is full-time and works in the office. You will design, develop, enhance and maintain cloud-ready SAP applications and extensions using modern SAP development practices.
Your day will involve building RAP-based business objects, CDS views, behavior definitions and implementations, service definitions and bindings, and OData services. You will also develop REST, OData and SOAP integrations between SAP and external applications. You will work closely with functional consultants, SAP architects, Basis, Fiori developers, QA teams and business stakeholders. You will take part in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, debugging and performance tuning. You will also support deployments, UAT and go-live.
We are looking for 5 to 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with strong hands-on work in SAP ABAP Cloud. You should know RAP, managed and unmanaged scenarios, and CDS data modelling. Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON and XML is needed. You should have worked on SAP S/4HANA, S/4HANA Cloud or SAP BTP ABAP Environment, and be comfortable with ADT in Eclipse and clean-core principles. Good communication skills are important. Experience mentoring junior developers will help.
The role is based in Bengaluru and is an in-office role. The notice period should be up to 90 days.
